Micaela Chatman, MD

Micaela Chatman, MD, is an adult epileptologist at Minnesota Epilepsy Group.

Dr. Chatman completed her undergraduate work at Harvard College before attending medical school at University of Virginia School of Medicine. She stayed at University of Virginia for her neurology residency before completing her fellowship at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Chatman’s areas of expertise and interest include intractable generalized epilepsies, non-epileptic events, and ICU monitoring. Outside of work, Dr. Chatman’s interests include traveling, reading, and spending time with her cat.

Dr. Chatman enjoys working with patients from all walks of life and wants to ensure that her patients are involved in making decisions about their care. “My main goal is to make sure you understand everything going on with your care. If I haven’t explained something clearly, please let me know so we can go over it a different way.”

Dr. Chatman has been published in journals such as Journal of Neurosurgery.
