Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota announced that it intends to spend $300 million for a major renovation of its campuses in Minneapolis and St. Paul. One of the key goals of the modernization plan is to make every inpatient room a private room.

The expansion effort also involves upgrading and enlarging the epilepsy unit, operating rooms and expanding the emergency room department. The St. Paul Children’s project is scheduled to break ground in the next 12 to 18 months.
