Psychologist

Minnesota Epilepsy Group, PA is recruiting for a full/part-time Psychologist with a flexible start date. We are a multidisciplinary clinic serving patients with epilepsy, and related co-morbid diagnoses including brain tumors, genetic and developmental disorders, and functional neurologic conditions. Common psychological comorbidities in our patient population include depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and behavior problems. The successful candidate will provide assessment and treatment services to adults and teenagers in our outpatient clinic and join a team of collegial neurologists/epileptologists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, and social workers providing inpatient consultation/liaison services on our Epilepsy Monitoring Units located at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis and Children’s Minnesota in St. Paul. Involvement in our multidisciplinary care clinics including New Onset Epilepsy and Transition Age Programs is also expected. Clinical research opportunities are available.
We are seeking candidates with a clinical concentration in treatment and assessment of adults and teenagers who have experience treating patients with chronic medical illness. Clinical experience in a hospital setting and work with persons suffering neurological impairment are highly desirable. This position requires a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program and successful completion of an APA/CPA accredited internship. Salary is competitive, with full benefits provided. Fixed Salary not based on production and exempt from overtime.
