Seize the Evening – Saturday, September 17th 2016

epaegSeize the Evening Reception and Silent Auction, the Epilepsy Advocacy and Employment Group’s annual fundraising event will be held on Saturday, September 17 from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. at the Bakken Museum, 3537 Zenith Avenue South (corner of West Calhoun Parkway and 35th Street) in Minneapolis.

The Silent Auction starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m. along with the drawing for the “Wall of Wine”.  The proceeds from this event will go to support EPAEG’s programs to help people with epilepsy with employment issues.

At 8:00 p.m. guest speaker Stacia Kalinoski, an Emmy-Award winning journalist will present her personal story entitled “My Greatest Marathon” and guest speaker Patrick Brown, M.D. of the Minnesota Epilepsy Group, P.A. will present his story “Confessions of an Epilepsy Double Agent . . . Life on Both Sides of the Neurology Bag.”  The Bakken Museum and its gardens will be open and operating for guests of EPAEG during the event.

Seize the Evening is a wine and cheese reception but non-alcoholic options are served along with traditional snacks.
